A Great Backyard Party Means Friends, Fun and
Cheesecake
by Laura Weaver
Summer is the time to get outdoors, particularly for those
in the north who have been stuck inside during a dreary
winter. It's even more enjoyable if you can share the
good times with dear friends or family.
Preparing for a outdoor party is easy and fun. It's a
terrific way to join together with a small group of
people. It's a way to talk about the community, sports
teams, politics, and world events in an
informal environment. Patio parties are a great way
to get to know your neighbors more fully and build friendships
for a more fulfilling life.
The first step to do in preparing for a outdoor event is to
choose the people whom you want to invite. These guests
might consist of friends, neighbors, family, and
colleagues. It is a good idea to invite people with
fairly similar interests so they can feel at ease being
together and enjoy each other's company.
The number two thing to do in planning a outdoor gala is to
choose the entertainment. These plans could include
simple backyard games like hillbilly golf, frisbee or corn
hole. Playing your favorite MP3s or involving everyone in
karaoke is always an entertaining choice.
The third, and most important preparation step for a outdoor
party is to choose the treat to be served to your special
guests. I like to keep the refreshment option simple and
easy so I can
enjoy the company of my friends and participate in the
entertainment. My favorite choice of refreshment is a
piece of gourmet cheesecake and a cup of coffee or tea.
Serving cheesecake to my guests at my outdoor party is a
delicious, yet simple option. It is rich enough to
satisfy my guests and meets all of their preferences. The
sweet, creamy texture is a surefire crowd pleaser. It's
flavor is mild enough so as not to overpower, yet it's
distinctive enough to be appreciated and remembered.
Cheesecake can be served as is or topped with fresh, seasonal
fruit, making a beautiful, appetizing and healthy
dessert. It can also be found in the different flavor
options of turtle, pumpkin, or key lime for that truly extra
special treat.
Cheesecake is easy to serve. You need a minimal amount
of utensils. One knife can be used to slice and
serve each piece. In fact, if you find the right web
based store, they come already with paper separating the
pieces. It can be eaten on paper plates and with plastic
forks or spoons for easy clean-up. And it is easy for
your guests to eat, as there are no crumbs to drop.
I'm excited to hold a outdoor party for my friends,
neighbors and family. I anticipate a relaxing and
enjoyable evening. I'm looking forward most to the
delightful, scrumptious cheesecake that I will serve. I
think I'll get started with the guest list now!
